How Does it Work?
ESStim™ couples Transcranial Ultrasound (TUS) with Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) to focus, amplify, and steer transcranial applied currents. The physics of ESStim™ provide a multitude of neurostimulation advantages. ESStim™ is completely noninvasive, and the ElectroSonic approach offers greater focality, penetration, duration of neurostimulation effect, magnitude of neurostimulation effect, and targeting control than other noninvasive options.
